TagView – High Speed gauging system

AVT has successfully developed and installed in a Singapore company for gauging of tracks in “tags” that are used in smart cards.

Customer Concerns

The challenge in this application, apart from the vision task and lighting, is the high speed on-the-fly requirement.

The requirement from the customer calls for a cycle time of not more than 118msec, including acquisition and inspection.

The speed of the conveyor is 450mm per sec.

Vision Capability

• Accuracy: +/- 0.1 mm
• Speed : 118 msec per part. (Base on 450mm per second for a smaller part of 53mm pitch)

• Y-shift with reference to wed edge
